Time Machine (Ash) Review
The game features a well thought out sci-fi theme with at least 5 bonus rounds, each presented in a different period of time. In addition to enchanting 3D graphics, which were obviously rendered by an experienced and artistic software designer, this game also features remarkable sound effects that keep players abreast on their artifact collection and bonus status. Many believe that the combination of sound and amazing graphics ranks Time Machine among the best video slot games ever produced.
The game’s design is somewhat reminiscent of traditional Vegas style slots, while at the same time, offering that technically advanced design that Ash Gaming slots are known for. The intro short is a good first impression, so make sure you watch it and don’t skip over it. During this intro, you will be briefed on some of the ways to win during play. Symbols include the Scientist, his (blue-haired) Assistant, Plutonium, a Clock, an Antiques Guide Book, and playing card symbols A, J, K, Q, and 10.
Bonus
The Plutonium symbol is a scatter and it has the ability to multiply your win up to 10 times. Also, whenever you get 3 or more Plutonium symbols, they are added to the Energy Meter on the left of the screen. Once the meter is full, your machine will be ready for take off. The Wormhole symbol is also a scatter and activates the bonuses. You need 3 or more Wormhole symbols to trigger the bonuses.
The first bonus is the Dinosaur Egg bonus round where you are given 5 Dinosaur Eggs and requested to select one which is going to disclose a multiplier for your original wager. If you are not content with your choice, you can pick another egg, though you could end up with a lower value than your first pick. Multipliers range from 10X to 30X. At the end of the round, you will be required to pick an antique which you are going to sell at the final round.
The Chariot Race is the second bonus round. Here you get to select a Chariot then watch it race around the arena. Regardless of your position, whether 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, you get a prize, and just like in the previous round, you get to choose an antique which you sell later.
In the Battleships bonus round, you are required to shoot down as many battleships belonging to the enemy as you can, the larger the ship the bigger the prize. Again, you will select an artifact to sell later.
The 4th bonus round is the 60s Psychedelic Spotlight. The spotlight shines on each member of the 60s-style band, and you win a prize for each member it shines on. At the end of the round, once again, you will pick an artifact to sell at the auction.
Finally, the Auction Bonus round, as the name suggests, is the auction in which you will sell your previously collected 4 artifacts. You will have the opportunity to choose the order of sale with each antique winning a differing prize between 5 and 30 credits.
Coin values in Time Machine range from 0.01 to 10, and the maximum bet when playing all lines is equal to 200. The jackpot stands at $250,000.
